The Coat King by Mars is possibly one of the best stripping tools available on the market and is used extensively by groomers. Now you can own one yourself.
The Coat King strips large areas fast, quickly and easily removing dead hair, undercoat and knots. While top coat hair will pass easily through the comb, undercoat (being wavy) and knots will catch in the comb. The undercoat will be caught and easily pulled out. Knots will resist and be cut by the blades, and come out with the next pass.
Made from quality German stainless steel, the teeth of the comb will not hurt your pet. The blades are protected and will only cut the hair as it passes through the comb.
We recommend sizes 10 and 12 for medium and coarse breeds, and sizes 16 and 20 for fine styles. Or use the coarse options for stripping out the coat and the finer options for finishing. Double width 18 is recommended for all larger long haired breeds such as Malamutes and Huskies, Bearded and Border Collies, Bernese and Newfies, Labradoodles.
