16 years of experience has made Doggles Interchangeable Lens System (ILS) a great solution in pet protective eyewear.

Doggles offer 100% UV protection, shatter-proof lenses, and anti-fog treatment on the inside of the lenses. Lenses on the ILS style are interchangeable and replaceable. This style is suited to all dog head shapes and sizes, but are particularly good for braciocephalic dogs - the short nosed breeds. Doggles have been designed with comfort in mind and have foam padding on the inside which also helps create a good seal as it contours to suit your dogs head shape. Doggles also have two elastic straps that are adjustable for a good secure fit. Whether your best friend accompanies you on a motorcycle ride, hang their head out of the truck, ute or car, loves to sunbathe or is sensitive to light, Doggles will be sure to keep their precious eyes safe. Protection. Dogs are very prone to eye irritaitons from wind, insects, dust and sand. Dogs also suffer eye damage from the sunlight and relfected glare. Doggles are a great prevention solution. If you have ever left your sunglasses at home and gone out driving on a hot, sunny day, you will likely feel eye strain and often head aches from squinting to reduce the glare.

Some dogs are fine wearing Doggles from day one. Others take a little time before they get used to them. There is a proven method to desensitise your pet to wearing Doggles. Slowly introduce your dog to the Doggles by just holding them in place on the dogs head. This will guage the dogs reaction and your next step. Remove the lenses and put the Doggles on your dogs head to get the right sie by adjusting the straps to be tight enought to hold the Doggles in place, but not too tight to be uncomfortable. Associate the events with some fun activities to distract your dog. Treats, squeaky toys or a ball will work well. Each day try a little bit longer still using the distractions. Praise your dog for not trying to remove the Doggles. If your dog tries to remove the Doggles, ask them to "Leave it" and reward when they wear them. A tired dog will be easier to train to wear Doggles than a lively, excited dog. So play and walk first.

My dog loves to dig and burrow in the sand at the beach. Will they stay on tight enough to keep the sand out of their eyes?

Yes. The adjustable chin strap will help prevent the Doggles coming off. You can even make the straps a little tighter as your dog will be more focussed on digging to China.

Yes. It will depend on the cat. Most likely the extra small size woule fit best and you will need more time getting them used to wearing something on their face.

Yes and No. Doggles are great at the beach as they keep sand and salt spray out of your dogs eyes. They were not designed for swimming, but if your dog does go out in the water, the drainage holes will drain any water away. Rinse with fresh water after use.
